What are Private Nursing Services?
The private nursing services at Care for Me are comprehensive and include nurses on call, elderly homecare, live-in care, respite care and companion care, plus specialised Alzheimer’s and dementia care. It is a service staffed by qualified professionals and experienced healthcare managers who understand the needs of personal home care in general, as well as the requirements of specialist nursing.
We’re committed to helping all our patients get the most out of life and make good decisions about their health. As well as providing treatment, our staff also advise patients about their care options and encourage them to understand their condition in an informed manner. Furthermore, we work alongside our patients’ GPs and hospital consultants to ensure that the treatment and care provided correctly follows medical advice.
Our patients can also be confident about the professional expertise of our private nursing service. Our state registered nurses have been carefully selected for their skills and qualifications, and for their ability to speak English. Care for Me’s Registered Nurses, (RNs), are all registered with the Spanish authorities and are fully insured.
What private care services can I have?
As outlined above, our services are comprehensive and diverse. Should you need a private nurse in an emergency, our Rapid Response nurse are only a phone call away and will be with you within a few hours of initial contact. All our nurses are trained in oncology and cardiology nursing, post-operative care, supervision of medicine administration plus palliative care and care of the elderly. And with Care for Me, patients can receive top quality care in their own home. This has numerous benefits, not least of which is the comfort of being in familiar surroundings.
When considering the most appropriate care for a patient, we invite those involved to meet us for a confidential consultation with the entire team, so that the patient and their partners or families can meet the team and discuss the best home care solutions. Each patient has his or her particular requirements and while it is often easy to identify immediately when a patient needs live-in care, or simply needs a nurse to visit once a day, we are aware that every patient is unique. That is why we always take the time to thoroughly discuss every aspect with our clients.
Custom Care Packages
One of the many advantages of using a private nursing service is that we offer a range of packages and are able to create a bespoke package that exactly caters to the patient’s needs. It is not possible to find this level of attention to detail outside of a private care service, because as we all know public and private hospitals are superbly equipped to provide the medical treatment, but are often unable to provide comprehensive aftercare.
